New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Hackettstown drops to Newark Academy
April 24, 2025: Livingston, NJ 07039 Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Hackettstown Tigers (Hackettstown, NJ), 21-11 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Newark Academy advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Millburn (Millburn, NJ) to encounter the Millers in a non-league battle on Monday, April 28. The Millers come into the battle with a record of 3-5. Millburn lost 18-6 in their recent non-league battle against Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ)
The Tigers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren Hills Regional for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 26. Hackettstown will encounter a Blue Streaks team coming off a 18-4 league loss to Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 4-4.
