April 24, 2025: Bridgewater, VA 22812 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors (Roanoke, VA) and the host Blue Ridge Christian Bears (Bridgewater, VA), saw Southwest Virginia Academy's soccer squad hold off Blue Ridge Christian by a score of 2-1.
The Conquerors (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Carlisle (Axton, VA). The Chiefs enter the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Carlisle tipped Chatham Hall (Chatham, VA), 10-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bears confront the Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 1. Blue Ridge Christian will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record.
