April 24, 2025: Greenwich, CT 06830 The Frederick Gunn Highlanders baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host Brunswick School Bruins to 2 in the Highlanders non-league win on Thursday.
The Highlanders now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avon Old Farms for a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. Frederick Gunn will play a Beavers team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Frederick Gunn (Washington, CT). The Beavers record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Brunswick School drops to 0-1 on the year. The Bruins host Rye Country Day (Rye, NY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, May 9. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-1. Rye Country Day lost 14-2 in their recent non-league test against King (Stamford, CT)
