Maryland High School Softball - Howard bounces Glen Burnie
April 24, 2025: Glen Burnie, MD 21060 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Howard Lions softball squad scored a good 31-19 triumph over the Glen Burnie Gophers.
With the triumph, Howard improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Lions host Centennial (Ellicott City, MD) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, April 25. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Centennial won 20-6 in their recent non-league contest against Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD)
The Gophers now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Chesapeake for a non-league contest on Monday, April 28. Glen Burnie will face a Cougars squad coming off a 23-3 non-league win over Arundel (Gambrills, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 10-3.
