In Thursday's non-league match, the The Linsly School Cadets (Wheeling, WV) lacrosse team triumphed over the host John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV), by a tally of 19-4.

Next up, the Cadets confront the Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) in a WVSLA -DI West match, on Wednesday, April 30. The Linsly School will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 2-8 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV).
