In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Griffith Panthers.

The Wildcats (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Kougars come into the Northwest Crossroads match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Kankakee Valley notched a victory over Pioneer (Royal Center, IN), 3-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Highland Trojans (Highland, IN) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 25. Griffith will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 7-4 record after their 8-0 league loss to Munster (Munster, IN).
