New Jersey High School Softball - New Egypt bounces Lakewood
April 24, 2025: Lakewood, NJ 08701 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the New Egypt Warriors (New Egypt, NJ) and the host Lakewood Piners (Lakewood, NJ), observed New Egypt's softball team prevail over Lakewood by a tally of 22-0.
The Warriors (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Sterling (Somerdale, NJ). The Silver Knights go into the non-league bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Sterling was routed by Williamstown (Williamstown, NJ), 5-4, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Piners battle the Liberty Lions (Jackson, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 25. Lakewood will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Lions come into the outing with a 7-2 record after their 18-3 non-league win over Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ).
