The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) and the visiting Heritage Eagles (Littleton, CO), saw Castle View's baseball team gain a win over Heritage by a tally of 5-1.

The Sabercats (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Golden Eagles enter the 5A/4A Continental battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Mountain Vista held off Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO), 10-0, in a league battle.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Fossil Ridge SaberCats (Fort Collins, CO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 25. Heritage will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The SaberCats come into the contest with a 9-8 record after their 14-11 league win over Poudre (Fort Collins, CO).
