Kansas High School Baseball - McPherson defeats Lyons
April 24, 2026: McPherson, KS 67460 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS) and the visiting Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS), saw McPherson's baseball team beat Lyons by a margin of 9-2.
The Bullpups (17-4) will now prepare for their battle against Collegiate (Wichita, KS). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Collegiate was overwhelmed by Andale (Andale, KS), 9-8, in a league battle.
Next, the Lions face the Smoky Valley Vikings (Lindsborg, KS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 28. Lyons will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 8-8 record after their 11-1 league loss to Pratt (Pratt, KS).
