The Summerfield Bulldogs (Petersburg, MI) baseball trounced the host Vandercook Lake Jayhawks (Jackson, MI), 9-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Carlson for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 27. Summerfield will clash with a Marauders team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Ida (Ida, MI). The Marauders record now stands at 9-5.

With the defeat, Vandercook Lake drops to 3-6 on the year. The Jayhawks host Columbia Central (Brooklyn, MI) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a Cascades challenge on Monday, April 27.
