In Friday's non-league match, the host Great Bridge Wildcats softball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Landstown Eagles.

The Wildcats (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors go into the Southeastern match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Nansemond River was nipped by Cox (Virginia Beach, VA), 21-7, in a non-league match.
