In Friday's non-league test, the Sandy Valley Cardinals (Magnolia, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Malvern Hornets (Malvern, OH), by a tally of 22-1.

Next, the Cardinals clash with the Garaway Pirates (Sugarcreek, OH) in a Inter Valley South test, on Monday, April 27. Sandy Valley will attempt to advance on its 14-5 season record. The Pirates go into the test with a 14-4 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Conotton Valley (Bowerston, OH).
