Illinois High School Soccer - Antioch nudges Lake Forest Academy
April 25, 2022: Lake Forest, IL 60045 Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Sequoits confront the Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL) in a Northern Lake County challenge, on Tuesday, April 26. Antioch will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 5-1 league win over Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL).
The Caxys now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Latin for a Independent Schools challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Lake Forest Academy will confront a Romans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Romans record now stands at 5-4.
