April 25, 2022: Montague, MA 01351 In Monday's non-league contest, the Turners Falls Thunder (Montague, MA) softball team held off the visiting Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA), by a margin of 2-1.
With the triumph, Turners Falls moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Thunder host Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, MA) to play the Red Hawks in a PVIAC - Franklin contest on Wednesday, April 27. The Red Hawks come into the contest with a record of 2-7. Frontier Regional lost 18-2 in their recent league contest against Greenfield (Greenfield, MA)
In their next game, the Mountaineers play the Shepherd Hill Regional Rams (Dudley, MA) in a Mid-Wach contest, on Wednesday, April 27. Wachusett Regional will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record.
