Wisconsin High School Baseball - Benton/Shullsburg loses to New Glarus
April 25, 2023: Benton, WI The New Glarus Glarner Knights crushed the host Benton/Shullsburg Zephyrs baseball team by a count of 16-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Glarner Knights now possess a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wisconsin Heights for a Capitol - South bout on Thursday, April 27. New Glarus will face a Vanguards team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Cuba City (Cuba City, WI). The Vanguards record now stands at 4-5.
Next, the Zephyrs face the Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 27. Benton/Shullsburg will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Redbirds enter the bout with a 9-4 record after their 11-10 league loss to Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI).
