New York High School Baseball - Ithaca loses to Waverly
April 25, 2023: Waverly, NY 14892 The Waverly Wolverines crushed the visiting Ithaca Little Red baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Wolverines now possess a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Williamsport for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 26. Waverly will face a Mountaineers team coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 6-2.
Next, the Little Red face the Corning-Painted Post West Vikings (Painted Post, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 27. Ithaca will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record.
