April 25, 2023: Wheeling, WV 26003 Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Martins Ferry Purple Riders (Martins Ferry, OH), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Linsly upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Cadets travel to Dover (Dover, OH) to battle the Crimson Tornadoes in a East Central Ohio test on Wednesday, April 26. The Crimson Tornadoes come into the test with a record of 10-3.
With the defeat, Martins Ferry falls to 5-5 on the season. The Purple riders travel to Brooke (Wellsburg, WV) to battle the Bruins in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 26. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 12-6. Brooke lost 5-3 in their recent non-league test against East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH)
