The Mulberry Grove Aces (Mulberry Grove, IL) baseball nipped the host Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL), 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Aces play the Woodlawn Cardinals (Woodlawn, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 28. Mulberry Grove will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 1-18 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL).

The Knights now sport a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host Southwestern for a non-league contest on Thursday, April 27. Metro-East Lutheran will play a Piasa Birds squad coming off a 6-5 league win over North Mac (Virden, IL). The Piasa Birds record now stands at 14-7.
