Missouri High School Soccer - Slater knocks off Jefferson City
April 25, 2023: Slater, MO 65349 Slater Wildcats (Slater, MO) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Waynesville Tigers (Waynesville, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 26. Slater will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Kickapoo (Springfield, MO).
The Jays now possess a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Hazelwood East for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. Jefferson City will confront a Spartans team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Jennings (Jennings, MO). The Spartans record now stands at 6-2.
