New York High School Lacrosse - Copiague drops to Riverhead
April 25, 2023: Riverhead, NY 11901 In Tuesday's league test, the host Riverhead Blue Waves lacrosse squad scored a good 14-5 victory over the Copiague Eagles.
The Blue Waves now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sachem North for a Section 11 I test on Thursday, April 27. Riverhead will face a squad coming off a 11-5 league loss to Connetquot (Bohemia, NY). The record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Commack Cougars (Commack, NY) in a Section 11 I test, on Saturday, April 29. Copiague will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 2-5 record after their 19-5 league loss to Ward Melville (East Setauket, NY).
