April 25, 2023: Olympia, WA 98501 The Olympia Bears soccer team scored 7 points and limited the visiting Kelso Hilanders to 1 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Bears face the Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound contest, on Thursday, April 27. Olympia will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 10-0 record after their 7-1 league win over South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA).
The Hilanders now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain View for a 3A Greater St. Helens contest on Friday, April 28. Kelso will face a Thunder team coming off a 2-2 non-league Battle Ground (Battle Ground, WA). The Thunder record now stands at 3-2.
