The Mescalero Apache Chiefs baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Capitan Tigers to 12 in the Chiefs league victory on Thursday.

The Chiefs (5-12) will now prepare for their match against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The Wildcats go into the 2A District 3 match with a 12-8 record. In their last match, Tularosa edged Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM), 16-6, in a league match.
