New York High School Lacrosse - Monroe-Woodbury drops to Suffern
April 25, 2024: Central Valley, NY 10917 Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY), 14-2 in a non-league battle.
The Mounties now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Warwick for a non-league battle on Monday, April 29. Suffern will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Goshen Central (Goshen, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-2.
In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 1. Monroe-Woodbury will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY).
