New York High School Softball - Rensselaer topped by Coxsackie-Athens
April 25, 2024: Coxsackie, NY 12051 In Thursday's league contest, the Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks (Coxsackie, NY) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Rensselaer Rams (Rensselaer, NY), by a margin of 26-2.
With the triumph, Coxsackie-Athens moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Riverhawks host Maple Hill (Castleton on Hudson, NY) to play the Wildcats in a Section 2 Patroon contest on Monday, April 29. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 6-6. Maple Hill won 10-1 in their recent league contest against Rensselaer (Rensselaer, NY)
In their next game, the Rams play the Maple Hill Wildcats (Castleton on Hudson, NY) in a Section 2 Patroon contest, on Friday, April 26. Rensselaer will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 5-6 record after their 13-1 league loss to Greenville (Greenville, NY).
