Massachusetts High School Softball - West Boylston nudges Millbury
April 25, 2024: West Boylston, MA 01583 West Boylston Lions (West Boylston, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Millbury Woolies (Millbury, MA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Murdock for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. West Boylston will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Millbury falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Woolies travel to Leicester (Leicester, MA) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Leicester won 25-8 in their recent league challenge against Quaboag Regional (Warren, MA)
