The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs (Melrose, WI) and the visiting Alma Center Lincoln Hornets (Alma Center, WI), saw Melrose-Mindoro's baseball team gain a win over Alma Center Lincoln by a tally of 5-2.

The Mustangs (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cashton (Cashton, WI). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Cashton by Bangor (Bangor, WI), 8-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Hornets face the Greenwood Indians (Greenwood, WI) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 28. Alma Center Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 0-7 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Neillsville/Granton (Neillsville, WI).
