Washington High School Baseball - Sehome holds off Blaine
April 25, 2025: Bellingham, WA 98225 The Sehome Mariners baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Blaine Borderites to 1 in the Mariners league win on Friday.
The Mariners now own a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Baker for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Tuesday, April 29. Sehome will play a Mountaineers team coming off a 6-4 league loss to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-15.
With the defeat, Blaine drops to 10-7 on the year. The Borderites travel to Sultan (Sultan, WA) to play the Turks in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Turks go into the test with a record of 4-10. Sultan lost 16-8 in their recent league test against Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA)
