In Friday's non-league game, the host Crete Cardinals baseball team scored a nice 11-2 win over the Holdrege Dusters.

The Cardinals (12-10) will now prepare for their game against York (York, NE). The Dukes go into the non-league game with a 8-8 record. In their last game, York was overwhelmed by Central City/Centura (Central City, NE), 4-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Dusters play the Lincoln Northwest Falcons (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 28. Holdrege will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 6-13 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE).
