In Friday's non-league bout, the Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds (Bensalem, PA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting La Salle College Explorers (Wyndmoor, PA), by a tally of 16-3.

Next up, the Firebirds encounter the Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic Friars/Pandas (Drexel Hill, PA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 26. Holy Ghost Prep will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Friars/Pandas come into the outing with a 9-4 record after their 6-1 league win over Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA).

The Explorers (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Conwell-Egan Catholic (Fairless Hills, PA). The Eagles come into the Philadelphia Catholic outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Conwell-Egan Catholic was overwhelmed by Devon Prep (Devon, PA), 5-4, in a league outing.
