April 25, 2025: Granite Falls, MN 56241 Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove Falcons (Lamberton, MN) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN), 5-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN) to battle the Knights in a Camden match on Tuesday, April 29. The Knights come into the match with a record of 9-2. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin (Mountain Lake, MN)
The Sting now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Renville County West for a Camden match on Tuesday, April 29. Yellow Medicine East will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 20-13 non-league win over Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-9.
