In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Joliet West Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Carmel Corsairs.

The Tigers (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Saxons come into the non-league challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Schaumburg was nudged by Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Corsairs meet the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 25. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL).
