Virginia High School Lacrosse - Yorktown nudges Western Albemarle
April 25, 2025: Arlington, VA 22207 The Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) lacrosse nudged the visiting Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), 16-15 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Patriots now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to James Madison for a non-league outing on Monday, April 28. Yorktown will face a Warhawks squad coming off a 19-2 league win over Westfield (Chantilly, VA). The Warhawks record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Western Albemarle falls to 6-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Robinson (Fairfax, VA) to face the Rams in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 26. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Robinson lost 19-8 in their recent non-league outing against James Madison (Vienna, VA)
