The Crusaders now hold a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Leesville Road for a Cap Six 4A challenge on Monday, April 28. Cardinal Gibbons will encounter a Pride squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Pride record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Topsail moves to 8-7 on the year. The Pirates travel to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to encounter the Wildcats in a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 2-11. New Hanover lost 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Laney (Wilmington, NC)
