Illinois High School Lacrosse - Waubonsie Valley nips Geneva
April 25, 2025: Geneva, IL 60134 In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Waubonsie Valley Warriors lacrosse squad scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Geneva Vikings.
The Warriors (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redwings go into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Benet Academy was nipped by Marist (Chicago, IL), 12-5, in a league challenge.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Boylan Catholic Titans (Rockford, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 3. Geneva will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Titans go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Grayslake (Grayslake, IL).
