April 25, 2025: Cookeville, TN 38501 Cookeville Cavaliers (Cookeville, TN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting DeKalb County Tigers (Smithville, TN), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cookeville moves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, TN) to clash with the Blue Devils in a AAA District 7 test on Tuesday, April 29. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 4-9. Lebanon lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Smyrna (Smyrna, TN)
The Tigers now sport a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Watertown for a AA District 7 test on Saturday, April 26. DeKalb County will clash with a Purple Tigers team coming off a 5-2 league loss to DeKalb County (Smithville, TN). The Purple Tigers record now stands at 3-9.
