Oregon High School Softball - North Bend succumbs to Astoria
April 25, 2025: North Bend, OR 97459 In Friday's non-league test, the Astoria Fishermen (Astoria, OR) softball squad overwhelmed the host North Bend Bulldogs (North Bend, OR), by a tally of 18-3.
Next, the Fishermen clash with the Tillamook Cheesemakers (Tillamook, OR) in a 4A Cowapa test, on Thursday, May 1. Astoria will attempt to advance on its 11-4 season record. The Cheesemakers go into the test with a 4-13 record after their 16-4 league loss to St. Helens (St. Helens, OR).
The Bulldogs (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR). The Pirates go into the 4A Sky Em test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Marshfield was routed by Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR), 10-0, in a league test.
