In Friday's non-league test, the Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) softball squad overwhelmed the host Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY), by a tally of 13-0.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Caverna Colonels (Horse Cave, KY) in a District 18 test, on Monday, April 28. Larue County will attempt to advance on its 19-3 season record.

The Rockets (13-11) will now prepare for their test against Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Wayne County prevailed over McCreary Central (Stearns, KY), 18-0, in a league test.
