Illinois High School Softball - Marist sneaks past Lincoln-Way West
April 25, 2025: Chicago, IL 60655 In Friday's non-league match, the host Marist RedHawks softball team scored a tight 1-0 win over the Lincoln-Way West Warriors.
The RedHawks (18-1) will now prepare for their match against Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Corsairs come into the East Suburban Catholic match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, Carmel nipped Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL), 16-6, in a league match.
In their next game, the Warriors confront the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban match, on Tuesday, April 29. Lincoln-Way West will attempt to better on its 13-7 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 6-10 record after their 3-2 league loss to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL).
