Maine High School Softball - Morse drops to York
April 25, 2025: Bath, ME 04530 York Wildcats (York, ME) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME), 18-3 in a league game.
With the triumph, York improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 21. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 2-4.
The Shipbuilders now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Medomak Valley for a Class B South game on Monday, April 28. Morse will face a Panthers squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Poland (Poland, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
