Pennsylvania High School Softball - Wissahickon succumbs to Villa Maria Academy

In Friday's non-league test, the Villa Maria Academy Hurricanes (Malvern, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA), by a tally of 20-8.

Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic (Flourtown, PA) in a Catholic Academies test, on Monday, April 28. Villa Maria Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Magic go into the test with a 8-2 record after their 6-4 league loss to Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA).

The Trojans (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA). The Cardinals go into the Suburban One - Liberty test with a 8-3 record.
