Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Franklin Academy Huskies (Malone, NY), 17-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Peru moves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY) to battle the Eagles in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I match on Tuesday, April 28. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 2-1. Beekmantown won 21-11 in their recent league match against AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY)
