Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Flushing Raiders (Flushing, MI), 19-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Tawas Area upgrades its record to 2-6 on the year. The Braves host Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to play the Oilers in a non-league game on Saturday, April 25. The Oilers enter the game with a record of 1-2.

The Raiders now own a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fenton for a Flint Metro test on Monday, April 27. Flushing will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Lakeland (White Lake, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 6-4.
