April 26, 2021: Floyds Knobs, IN 47119 Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Trinity Shamrocks (Louisville, KY), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Floyd Central upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Highlanders host Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN) to battle the Braves in a non-league test on Friday, April 30. The Braves come into the test with a record of 8-5. Brownstown Central lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Perry Central (Leopold, IN)
With the defeat, Trinity falls to 16-1 on the season. The Shamrocks host Atherton (Louisville, KY) to battle the Rebels in a District 27 test on Tuesday, April 27. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 1-3. Atherton lost 12-0 in their recent non-league test against North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY)
