South Carolina High School Soccer - Hammond nudges Dutch Fork
April 26, 2021: Irmo, SC 29063 Hammond Skyhawks (Columbia, SC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Dutch Fork Silver Foxes (Irmo, SC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Skyhawks confront the Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders (Columbia, SC) in a SCISA AAA Region I challenge, on Thursday, April 29. Hammond will attempt to better on its 12-6 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA).
The Silver Foxes now have a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they host South Aiken for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 29. Dutch Fork will confront a Thoroughbreds team coming off a 2-1 league win over Airport (West Columbia, SC). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 6-5.
