Indiana High School Softball - Lanesville bounces New Washington
April 26, 2021: Lanesville, IN 47136 Lanesville Eagles (Lanesville, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN), 13-3 in a league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Tell City for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 27. Lanesville will battle a Marksmen squad coming off a 9-5 non-league win over North Harrison (Ramsey, IN). The Marksmen record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, New Washington falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Borden (Borden, IN) to battle the Braves in a Southern challenge on Wednesday, April 28. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Borden won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against South Central (Elizabeth, IN)
