Washington High School Baseball - Mt. Baker nips Bellingham
April 26, 2022: Bellingham, WA 98225 Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Bellingham Red Raiders (Bellingham, WA), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, Mt. Baker upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Mountaineers host Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA) to battle the Wildcats in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, April 28. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 12-6. Oak Harbor lost 5-2 in their recent league test against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)
With the defeat, Bellingham falls to 3-6 on the season. The Red raiders travel to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA) to battle the Tigers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, April 28. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 11-5. Burlington-Edison won 12-1 in their recent league test against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA)
