Delaware High School Soccer - Sussex Academy held off by Caesar Rodney
April 26, 2022: Camden, DE 19934 In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Caesar Rodney Riders soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Sussex Academy Seahawks.
The Riders (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE). The Vikings go into the Henlopen North bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Cape Henlopen held off Delmar (Delmar, DE), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Seahawks battle the Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE) in a Henlopen South bout, on Thursday, April 28. Sussex Academy will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Smyrna (Smyrna, DE).
