Virginia High School Soccer - Hickory knocks off Western Branch
April 26, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23322 Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), 4-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Hawks confront the Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Thursday, April 28. Hickory will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 5-0 league loss to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA).
The Bruins now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Great Bridge for a Southeastern challenge on Thursday, April 28. Western Branch will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-0.
