April 26, 2022: Kansas City, KS 66109 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS) and the visiting Bonner Springs Braves (Bonner Springs, KS), witnessed Piper's softball squad tip Bonner Springs by a count of 9-8.
The Pirates now sport a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Baldwin for a non-league match on Friday, April 29. Piper will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Tonganoxie (Tonganoxie, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-10.
With the loss, Bonner Springs moves to 3-7 on the season. The Braves host Turner (Kansas City, KS) to meet the Golden Bears in a non-league match on Monday, May 2. The Golden Bears go into the match with a record of 0-8. Turner lost 14-1 in their recent league match against Tonganoxie (Tonganoxie, KS)
