Riverdale Falcons (Mt. Blanchard, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cory-Rawson for a Blanchard Valley challenge on Wednesday, April 27.

With the loss, Hopewell-Loudon falls to 11-1 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Woodmore (Elmore, OH) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 28.
